Description
GERANIÜM from Strasbourg/Besancon (France) are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year and, after numerous splits, are finally making us happy with their second album. Although there have been some line-up changes recently, they have remained true to their unmistakable style on “Fear is the enemy”: The new record features a merciless blend of dark crust, 90s screamo and black metal. Instead of bluntly banging away, a passionate wall of sound is slowly unfolded here, whose unbridled vehemence leaves you breathless. If you are looking for musical influences, ALPINIST, FINGERPRINT or MADAME GERMEN would certainly be mentioned here. But what for? GERANIÜM are guarantees in themselves. Anyone who has been around in this context in recent years will probably be familiar with the band from France anyway.
