We recorded this track during the Portal recording session last year, it was meant to be released simultaneously but trying to match the dates between two pressing plants is a complicated task.

Nevertheless, here it is, our rendition and tribute to the legendary Tožibabe!

We feel that there’s a specific ‘darkness’ to the sound and output of the 80s Hardcore Punk bands from former Yugoslavia and Tožibabe embodied it perfectly. Probably not the most obvious influence for a Funeral Doom band but a huge one regardless.

This album was recorded 15 years ago to the day and if you were born too late to witness the emergence of the 90s Sludge scene, Meth Drinker were the band that brought the exact same amount of misery and disgust as the originators of the genre some 15-20 years before them..

Today marks the release of Spiracle's OSSIPHAGE, a record I am really proud to be releasing.

I first heard these songs when we were recording with Forged Relics last year in Copenhagen and our producer Marcus played it to us. We instantly fell in love with the record and asked Solveig to do some additional vocals for the track "Catacombs for the Broken Stars (Eternal Desert)".

We started talking about getting the record pressed on vinyl and lo and behold, almost exactly a year later, the record is out today! 

Limited to 300 copies on black vinyl it comes in a beautiful packaging with an OBI strip, all designed by Solveig's long-time collaborator Tobias Holmbeck.

Ossiphage – Spiracle’s first full-length album, written and produced by Copenhagen-based multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Solveig Roseth – comes together as a sonic treatise on a shared fragility; how bodies break, in a world that not only diminishes their suffering, but also revels in it.

The album is released via Rope or Guillotine on November 6th 2025.

From the ashes of Slovenia’s finest sludge-punk miscreants Leechfeast emerges a new, eerie project. Forged Relics summon music that gestures towards both the Divine and Heretical, stripping doom down to an austere and minimalist arrangement of drums, vocals and organ, that is rich in understated majesty and devout apostasy.

Mired in censer smoke-laden atmosphere, slow, cascading drums peal out alongside plaintive, regal organ notes as guttural vocals slither and expel into the ether. A sense of looming presence permeates, the ineffable paired with crushing unorthodox heaviness.

Across its 37 minutes, Portal utilises the repetition and ritualism of Doom Metal, Chamber music and Drone. Hinting at the baleful works of Profetus, Abandon and Mournful Congregation and also the stark, ceremonial beauty of Kali Malone and Sarah Davachi.

Mesmerizing and sonorous - beckoning towards something truly ancient.

To listen is to be transported, emerging from the throng and wooden pews, into the light, keenly watching across the haze of Adriatic horizon that is unending. Infinite. Eternal.

Propad's second release “Žrtve Modernega Časa” is an intense 12 minute roller coaster of fuming blastbeats, punishing breaks and occassional heavy slow parts. The record starts off with a sample of news snippets reporting the world's declining state of being and the music that follows comes in as a result of these devestating times we live in.

Extreme times call for extreme music. And extreme it is.
